4-26-13 – Kent hosted Fifty Shades of Food Glorious Food to benefit the BABC scholarship fund and Pure Game Charity.

“Fifty Shades of Food, Glorious Food,” was held Friday, April 26, 2013, at the Hilton Hotel in Anaheim. The event featured the culinary talents of six leading Orange County chefs including Michael Rossi of The Ranch, Azmin Ghahreman of Sapphire, Kyung Carroll of the Mix Restaurant at the Hilton Anaheim Hotel, Andrew Sutton of Napa Rose, Sayed Moalemi of TusCA and Alfred Prasad of Tamarind of London. Proceeds from the night benefited the BABC scholarship fund as well as the Pure Game Charity. A highlight of the evening was the BABC presentation of scholarships to two disadvantaged children. The two were also gifted with a trip to the United Kingdom.
The event also attracted the support of many dignitaries and celebrities, including Tom Tait, Mayor of Anaheim, along with his wife Julie, Andrew Lewis, British Vice Consul, Warren Barton, a leading Commentator for Fox Soccer Network and Kent French, a notable sports broadcaster and “voice of the Anaheim Ducks.” French donated his time as master of ceremonies.
